The Old Barn is a 16x12 original acrylic and mixed-media painting on canvas, featuring a weathered country barn beneath a richly colored sunset sky. Deep teal and indigo fade into coral, orange, and gold, while the surrounding grasses, fence line, and autumn-toned tree give the scene a warm, nostalgic character.
The barn, tree, grasses, and landscape details are created with laser-engraved wood elements that have been individually stained, painted, and layered over the hand-painted canvas. This dimensional construction gives the piece added texture and depth, allowing the details to stand away from the painted background and catch the light differently throughout the day.
The result is part painting, part woodwork, a piece that feels rustic and familiar while still being completely distinctive.
This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork. No prints or reproductions will be made, so the purchaser will own the only version of The Old Barn.
It comes in the black floating frame shown, fully finished and ready to hang.
Details: 16" × 12" original acrylic and mixed-media artwork on canvas; laser-engraved, stained and hand-painted wood elements; black floating frame included; one-of-a-kind original; no prints will be produced.
